From our first Yugoslavian club to an enterprise with nearly 100 venues and more than 2,500 employees
1988
The year George Michael’s Faith became the best-selling single in the States.
And the year when in the former Yugoslavia we opened our first ever club.
Since then, just as in the world, big things happened to us: Senator Group has made its presence known on 3 continents, in 7 countries, with nearly 100 venues.
Though our success required a huge amount of work, there’s no doubt that luck was on our side too. And yes, we made sure to leave a chunk of it in every casino and gaming club we run, so you can get to have it when you play!
Brief Senator chronology
1988: we open our first gaming club in the former Yugoslavia.
The network of gaming clubs once known as Vegas and Astra quickly gains popularity.
In the following 15 years we open many more venues in Central and Eastern Europe: at our peak, players could find us in 14 countries.
At the end of the ‘90s, we bring the joy of gaming to Africa; to Kenya and Mauritius
In 2003 we join the market of premium casinos, and success follows. As part of the Casino Flamingo Project, we build our first, 4-star hotel on the border of North Macedonia and Greece.
Between 2008 and 2013 we restructure our operation and spread our wings in Central America, where we are still expanding and developing our services.
